This is interesting and disturbing. The fact that the faces are obscured by the colored balloons sends a message well worth thinking about: Is there freedom in identity, or is the freedom what makes the identity? The black, hard-looking balloons are impersonal, brisk, and direct, but still free and buoyant. Without anyone to partake of freedom, does it have the same life?
honestly, i dont really like this, usually your drawings have a lot of space, which is something i really like how you do it, but this one feels different. to me it seems too crowded in a disorganized way. i think this is good as a trial or a sketch, but i share the feeling with you that it doesnt seem quite finished. but you're going somewhere different! and that's good. love your pencil line work, by the way.
wow, it was some time ago when i felt like somebody "got me".
truth to be told i have an updated version which does much more justice. anyway, i'm just happy for the well thought through comment. thanks, greatly appreciated
This reminds me, some feelings I had looking at your draws, some months ago.
I never had the same feeling. I cannot have the same feeling. But I'm feeling something different, that rounds around your ideas, and makes me smile. I like it. I like it a lot.
thanks a lot regarding the pink balloon. it looks really flat now that you mention, i shall change it as soon as i get it back (my teachers are currently grading it. and how!)
i'm pretty fond of the theme, balloons and wheelie.-things. god i have no idea what to call them.
thanks.

The pink one, of course.
The pink balloon looks a bit flat compared to the blue balloon though (maybe because you left a bit of white in the blue one?)
Anyway, this picture is nice because it shows an impossible situation in a realistic way. Do I make any sense? Guess not.
